The fact is I’m a sucker for the minutiae of nature. There is such beauty, complexity and order in the seeming disorder. Spores are a favorite area of interest. I’ve spent hours studying photos that have clearly influenced my work. They are role models in terms of adapting and surviving and can develop independently into new individuals. We have a lot to learn from spores.
